The problems:
- "4 years of experience building scalable web applications" — every engineer says this. It's not a differentiator, it's a category label.
- "Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and React" — belongs in the skills section, not the summary. Leads with tech when you should lead with capability and scale.
- "Strong communicator" — claimed, not demonstrated. This phrase appears on enough resumes that it has become noise.

The problems:

The Pattern Behind Every Fix
Every rewrite above follows the same logic:
Generic claim → Specific evidence "Helped improve performance" → "Reduced median response time from 420ms to 85ms"
